Ohana Christmas Week
There is so much fun and great things happening in our community this week.
We are having a Keiki Gift Pack Registration for Friday's Distribution and Christmas Family Photo contest.
We have our monthly food pantry on Thursday, December 17th at 11am, our final Feed the People and Panchos Dinner distrihution on Friday, December 18th beginning at 11am.
Friday will also feature a drive thru Keiki Christmas Gift Pack distribution this holiday season.
Keiki Christmas Gift Pack Online Registration
In partnership with @vibranthawaii Nanawale Community Association, along with Kanaka Ha'aheo received funds from the County of Hawai'i CARES grant to provide this amazing gift opportunity to the keiki of Puna.
We have a limited amount of gift packs to give away. Please be sure to read all information upon registering. Gift packs are available for ages 5 years old to 17 years old only. Donations of toys and other goodies maybe possible hazards to an infant. We want to make sure everyone is safe this Christmas.

Family Christmas Gift Baskets
For the last three Sundays Kanaka Ha'aheo had been taking children's names for the Christmas Keiki Gift Packs. The families that registered at the Farmers Market will receive special gift packs. These gift packs will be filled with special items and goodies.
Upon registering, families are automatically entered to WIN one of 3 Family Christmas Gift Baskets. These baskets contain goodies courtesy of Vibrant Hawaii, NCA, Kanaka Ha'aheo, Keiki Heroes and local businesses.
Winners will be chosen, announced and contacted on Thursday, December 17th
Thank you to Kohala Coffee Company, Pahoa Animal Hospital, Coco Cantina, Kanaka Ha'aheo and Vibrant Hawaii for your generous donations to our Familly Christmas Gift Baskets.
This year due to the pandemic, NCA has decided not to do their annual Holiday Event. However to celebrate the holiday season NCA in partnership with Vibrant Hawaii will be giving out Keiki Gift Packs to the community on Friday, December 18th from 11am to 1pm.

"LIKE" Kanaka Ha'aheo on Facebook to receive updates and to be eligible to WIN the Family Gift Basket. You will also receive notifications from Kanaka Ha'aheo for events, programs and food distribution dates.

In the early morning.... you are not mistaken. At the longhouse it ranges 63 - 64 degrees at 7:45am.
By 9:30am, the temperature defrosts to 87 degrees.
